Conversion of flat roofs can be costly when employing conventional designs. Tapered insulation must be installed to eliminate ponded water, leaks and poor performance issues.

Solution: The use of light gage framing, creating a positive slope to the exterior drainage system, removed water weight and the very high potential of moisture infiltration during inclement or high wind conditions. The key to solving this problem came from the elimination of tear off and removal of potentially hazardous materials, by installing a positive slope roof using light gage structural framing and standing seam metal roofs to create a 50-75+ year life cycle new roof.
