When an existing metal roof, which was structural in design and not standing seam, meets the end of its life, a simple and cost effective solution was used to carry on.  Retro-fitting this manufacturing and warehouse facility with a Structural Standing Seam roof, the owner eliminated the high cost alternatives offered by conventional roof manufacturers. Light gage framing or existing framing that could have extended clips installed, allowed the owner to reface his building and his walls without having to expose his inside operation to the elements. Now a good decision 40 years ago has been extended to a minimum extended life of 50+ years, with no maintenance and elimination of exposed fasteners throughout the field of the roof. The building wins, the management wins and the manufactured products are removed from the elements during reroof.
